She also worked on the Desktop project where she did estimate analysis for the Greenfields Coal Project based in Queensland. Her other major project was a forensic claim review for a hospital redevelopment project.
In 2003, Bevin worked as a site administrator at Stork before moving to UGL Limited to work as a contract administrator and later as a cost engineer and projects control manager in 2004. She then worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff between July 2005 and March 2006 as a project controls manager.

Between 2007 and 2009, Bevin worked at Chelopech Mining EAD as a project controls manager in Bulgaria. She was responsible for commercial management and project controls, trained local staff, and developed scheduled control systems. After Bulgaria, Bevin worked at Oakajee Port and Rail as a project controls manager, Universal Energy Services as a project services manager, and at Phu Bia Mining as a project and services control manager.
