Born in New Jersey, Eric Pulier isnt just a 1988 magnum cum laude Harvard graduate who majored in American Literature and English but also a decorated entrepreneur, technologist philanthropist, motivational speaker and a published author. After graduating from Harvard University, he started working as an editor for The Harvard Crimson, the institutions newspaper. Additionally, he wrote insightful articles for the paper on topics such as academics and terrorism. Regarding publications, Mr. Eric Pulier has written a book called, Understanding Enterprise SOA, a must read for technologists and business people. He has also written for the Forbes Magazine.
His intelligence shone right from a tender age because as a fourth-grader, he was already into computer programming. When he finished high school studies in 1984, Eric Pulier was running a database computer company.
Some of the businesses that Eric Pulier has founded, co-founded or funded include; Media Platform, Digital Evolution, US interactive, Akana Desktone, Sanat Monica Media Corporation and ServiceMesh. Regarding leadership positions, Mr. Eric Pulier is the chairman of US Interactive Inc, Executive Chairman of SOA Software, Director at Media Platform Inc, and Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ServiceMesh Inc. Besides, Mr. Eric Pulier has been the Chief Technology Officer, Secretary and Director of Santa Monica Media Corporation since 2005 to present.
To further demonstrate his entrepreneurial activities, Mr. Eric Pulier has also invested in Venture Capital funds such as eCompanies, Monitor Ventures, and Trident Capital. Besides, he has also invested in startups in the areas of media and technology.
That not being enough, Mr. Eric Pulier has also been involved in various charity activities. He has donated money and most importantly, his time to the less privileged members of the society. For instance, he is VP of cloud operations in the Painted Turtle, a summer camp tailored for children with chronic illnesses. Painted Turtle is committed to ensuring that children with chronic illnesses have an opportunity to enjoy the summer camp experience. Additionally, Mr. Eric Pulier, through Starbright World, has built a social media platform tailor-made to suit the needs with chronic diseases. He also worked with President Bill Clinton in the 1990s to come up with cheaper cloud computing applications for underprivileged communities.
