Yanni Hufnagel is a basketball recruiter and coach. Presently, he works for Nevada Wolf Pack as the assistant coach, under head coach, Eric Musselman. Initially, he served as an assistant coast for California Golden Bears, Harvard Crimson, and Vanderbilt Commodores. Hufnagel is an alumnus of the esteemed Pennsylvania State University. He was a member of the institutions lacrosse squad. Later, he transferred to Cornell University where he graduated with his Bachelors degree in Labor and Industrial Relations. After completing his internship at the New Jersey Nets, Yanni joined Oklahoma University where he worked as an assistant coach for the basketball team. Through his skills, he developed new talents like Blake Griffin. While still working for the institution, he studied and earned a masters degree in Higher and Adult Education, concentrating more on Intercollegiate Administration of Athletics. In 2016, Yanni Hufnagel accepted to serve as an assistant coach of the University of Nevada’s basketball team.

For four seasons, Yanni Hufnagel served as the assistant basketball coach at Harvard. Through his contribution, the Crimson won the Ivy League. They also produced a couch-surfing sensation known as Jeremy Lin. During the four years, Harvard recorded more than 20 wins in each season, captured three successive Ivy League titles, and recorded a 90-30 mark. In 2012, Yanni played a pivotal role in leading Harvard to their first NCAA contest since 1946. The Harvard team moved to the third round of NCCA when the Crimson defeated New Mexico. The Crimson also registered 26 school-record victories during Hufnagels third term at Harvard in 2011 to 2012. Throughout his service as a recruiting coordinator at Harvard, Hufnagel was praised for recruiting many high-rated individuals.

During his first year at Cornell, Yanni Hufnagel spent one term as a basketball manager where he achieved a two-season internship with the New Jersey Nets. However, his major achievement came when his colleague at Nets, Ryan Krueger, linked him with Jeff Capel, Oklahoma’s basketball coach. Ryan made Yanni the graduate assistant coach. Owing to his extensive experience, Yanni Hufnagel is expected to lead Nevada Wolf Pack to remarkable victories.
